Effective as of 19 June 2026
These Terms and Conditions of Sale apply, without restriction or reservation, to the purchase of tickets for events organised by the Association des Amis de la Basilique Saint-Seurin, hereinafter referred to as “the Organiser”, on the website https://basilica.fr/.
1. Purpose
These Terms and Conditions of Sale are intended to define the terms and conditions under which the Organiser sells admission tickets for its events — visits, concerts, conferences, or any other cultural event — to purchasers through its online ticketing service.
2. Prices and payment
Ticket prices are indicated in euros (€), including all taxes.
The Organiser reserves the right to change its prices at any time. However, tickets will be charged on the basis of the prices in force at the time the order is confirmed and paid for.
Payment is due immediately at the time of ordering. Payment is made by bank card via the secure, external payment platform of our ticketing partner, for example HelloAsso, Billetweb, Stripe, etc.
3. Ordering and delivery of tickets
The order becomes firm and final once payment has been confirmed by the purchaser. Following this confirmation, a confirmation email containing the electronic ticket or tickets, also referred to as e-tickets, is automatically sent to the email address provided by the purchaser. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to check that this email has been received correctly.
Legal notice — No right of withdrawal: In accordance with Article L221-28 12° of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to services relating to accommodation, transport of goods, car rental, catering or leisure activities that are to be provided on a specific date or during a specific period. Ticket purchases made on the website https://basilica.fr/ are therefore firm and final.
4. Cancellation, postponement and refunds
Tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded, except in the event of the complete cancellation of the event by the Organiser.
In the event of cancellation by the Organiser, the refund will apply exclusively to the ticket price paid by the purchaser. Any additional costs, such as transport or accommodation, remain the sole responsibility of the purchaser.
In the event that the event is postponed to a later date, the Organiser will offer the choice between extending the validity of the ticket or receiving a refund.
5. Conditions of access to events
Each ticket includes a unique identifier or code, such as a QR code, which is checked at the entrance to the event. The Organiser reserves the right to refuse access if the ticket presented is illegible, damaged or has already been checked for validity.
6. Applicable law and disputes
These Terms and Conditions of Sale are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute or claim, and failing a prior amicable agreement, the French courts shall have sole jurisdiction.
